KRUŠNOHOŘÍ - POUTNÍ CENTRUM

The pilgrimage center is located in Cesky Jiretin, a small village of less than 100 inhabitants attracting tourists thanks to its flourishing nature in summer and snow-covered hills ideal for skiing. The project offers the possibility to experience a sensorial journey. It consists of a new church which is built on the footprint of the destroyed church of the town. It is a place of introspection which is directly connected to a communal building where pilgrims and visitors can gather for meetings and sharing meal together. Hidden behind the trees above the hill, a small sauna is the perfect place for the visitors to focus on their body and well-being while enjoying the view on nature. To finish their experience, the old rectory is renovated as an accomodation.
