Serpentine Pavilion

This Serpentine Pavilion aims to create a unique visitor experience, unlike anything else seen at the site in its 20+ year history. Its simple, sleek exterior shape contrasts with its dense and complex structural system, visible in the interior. The structure system uses a lattice of assembled wooden batons, creating a lightweight design that is self-supporting, giving the impression of the pavilion floating over the ground.
