KOVÁŘSKÁ IRONWORKS FOR ARTISTS : EXTENDING THE LEGACY

The project aims to utilize the historic significance of the Ironworks to establish a vibrant village for artists. It envisions a cultural facility that operates year-round, providing both residents and visitors with a dynamic space that functions as a comprehensive cultural hub, attracting artists from all over. Rather than restoring the historic buildings to their original state, the design seeks to capture and reinterpret the unique atmosphere and inherent power of the site. The architecture will be thoughtfully integrated into the area. The goal is to breathe new life into both the Ironworks and the village of KOVÁŘSKÁ through reconstructed and expanded spaces, while celebrating the spirit of the site‘s architectural heritage.
