Principles of community housing seems to correspond with the actual desire for a higher level of socialization in Western society, as well as the pursuit of higher overall sustainability of housing. The question remains whether this model of housing is applicable in the Czech context. Summary of potential positive benefits and risks of building cohousing in suburbia in the Czech Republic are based on an analysis of completed cohousing estates abroad.
