How can we manage development of industrial heritage sites in order to get the best results relative to sustainability, socio-cultural benefits and return on investment? Will intervention bring positive or negative impact on the socio-economic development and status of the areas? Is it possible to prevent failure and rejection of the project through including participation of the local population, the gradual phasing of the project or choosing an appropriate scale? Answering all these questions should be taken into account by valuation analysis - in order to find the hidden potential of industrial sites and to get a deeper understanding of the processes influencing theirs further development.
