The article focuses on the specific examples of street pattern development and changes. The persistence of townscape is visible everywhere around us and the necessity of organic incorporation is evident. For better understanding, mapping and presentation of the city development some examples from Germany have been chosen and described. The urban morphology vocabulary is used for description.
