This paper presents Donkey which is an interactive structural analysis software tool developed for generative architectural design. It has been developed at university in cooperation with architects and structural engineers, intended to make their interdisciplinary cooperation more efficient. Donkey provides simpler and sophisticated interpretation of structural analysis results. In the early stages of design, this helps architect to better understand the mechanical responses of the designed structure to loading.
