Game, Function and Art: Children's Playground Artefacts in Post-war Czechoslovakia

Ing. arch. Mgr. Klára Brůhová, Ph.D.

The paper is dealing with the topic of children’s spaces and playground artefacts made by Czech and Slovak architects and artists for the post-world war II prefab housing estates. More accurate, chronological definition is established as the period from the early 1960s to the Velvet Revolution in 1989, while territorially, the greatest emphasis is put on the prefab housing estates in Prague.
