We live in very hectic times. Huge industrial and technological advances are having a fatal impact on our environment. It is necessary to act immediately to put into practice the conclusions of Agenda 30 and the Green Deal, which aim to put Europe on the path to ecological transformation with the ultimate goal of achieving Europe's carbon neutrality in 2050. A change in housing philosophy also contributes to this aim. Island dwellings, which are completely independent of the energy supplied, are coming to the fore. They operate on circular, sustainable principles. An example of such sustainable housing is the type of island living known as "Earthship".
