Impact of façade coloring on temperature and light conditions of buildings, housing estates, and environment

Design of the color solution of the façade is usually focused only to achieve subjectively desirable aesthetic look of the building. In the whole context it however has many other connections including the environmental one. From this point of view it is very inappropriate to use dark colors with high absorption of solar and diffused radiation. This paper is focused on the influence of the color of the façade surface on the external and internal surface temperature of the external walls, temperature of the air in their surroundings, and day lighting of the interior.
