Český Krumlov is one of the most significant Czech cultural sites on UNESCOs list of world heritage sites. With the extensive project of the NGO KRAJINAK in cooperation with University of South Bohemia and Faculty of Civil Engineering, CTU in Prague, there is a complete 3D model being created of the historic city centre. The 3D model will be used mainly for professional planning, preservation of historical monuments, evaluation of development activities in the city centre and for detailed archaeological research.
