POOHŘÍ, KOŽELUŽSKÁ, CHEB

The aim of the diploma project is to involve the themes of the tower, the differences between satellite and village buildings and the typology of a townhouse in the context of Cheb, specifically in the area around Koželužská Street. Finding the genius loci in a place with the character of the periphery is the primary task of the work. The application of authors own urban solution and verification of its proposed capacities follows. The proposal seeks to find a balance between the history of the place and its potential while maintaining all the requirements of a modern city. The proposed solution has the ambition to serve as an element of unification of the surrounding construction and an activator of further development of the site.
