COOPERATION WITH THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTORS

We cooperate with public and private institutions, the public and the media at local, national and international levels. Our faculty is unique in that it brings together teachers, researchers and working experts in the fields of architecture, urbanism, urban planning, landscape architecture and design. This enables us to offer comprehensive professional support for cooperation with partners from the public and private sectors.

We have established long-term cooperation with the European Association for Architectural Education – EAAE (Dalibor Hlaváček), The Association of European Schools of Planning – AESOP (Karel Maier, Jakub Vorel), the International Organization for the Protection and Documentation of Modern Architecture ¬– Docomomo International (Petr Vorlík) and the International Committee for the Preservation of Industrial Heritage – TICCIH (Benjamin Fragner).

Our academic employees are members of many other international institutions such as: United Nations Economic Commission for Europe UNECE (David Tichý), International Council on Monuments and Sites – ICOMOS (Benjamin Fragner, Petr Vorlík, Vladimír Šlapeta), the non-profit organization Education and research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe –eCAADe (Henry Achten), Association of the European Route of Historic Thermal Towns EHTTA (Martin Pospíšil), MIES VAN DER ROHE AWARD, PIRANESI AWARD (Jana Tichá), American Institute of Architects – AIA (Ladislav Lábus, Vladimír Šlapeta) or the Royal Institute of British Architects – RIBA (Vladimír Šlapeta).

Our traditional cooperating partners are the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, Technology Agency of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
