MULTIFUNCTIONAL HOUSE IN BRNO

The subject of the thesis is the multifunctional house on the corner of the streets Pekarska and Anenska in Brno. The main function is housing with range of flats from the studios to the three-bedroom flats, as well as some high-end apartments. On the ground level there are four commercial units towards Pekarska street. Two visually divided parts of the building are connected by inner public yard and three underground floors with parking and additional house facilities. The importance of the corner position is emphasized by gradation of the mass, but by using materials and morphology resembling surrounding buildings, proposed house fits well into the context of the locality.
