There probably isn't a better place for a faculty of theology, than the garden of Emmaus Monastery located in area of college campus and in close surroundings of the New Town monasteries. The site itself however brings up a lot of questions. Is the site really suited for a new building? Isn't it too small or too close to the monastery? As a subject of this thesis I have chosen conception and construction design of a new building of the Catholic theological faculty as the last mass of urban development of the Vyšehradská street.
