Annotation
The topic of this bachelor thesis is a design of a monastery on the St. Kilian's island near to the small town Davle. The building comes from the benedictine tradition and provides a community of 20 monks with all the rooms they need for their style of living. At the same, it reacts on the natural conditions of the surrounding area and the river Vltava. The projects works out the architectonical study to the level of documentation for realization.
