JABLONEC - CITY INTERVENTIONS

Horní náměstí is one of the three squares in the heart of Jablonec, which are interconnected pedestrian zone. Dolní and Mírové náměstí have already been revitalized and the city plans to restore the highest square. Its condition is currently quite unsatisfactory, and although it is several times larger than the other two squares, most of its area is subject to car traffic and parking. The aim of the thesis is not only to solve this dismal state of the square, but also to make a meaningful addition to the existing development. The surroundings of the church are also dismal for other reasons. One of them is the gradually and non-conceptually planted greenery, which largely hides the church. So I tried to restore one of the most important buildings in Jablonec nad Nisou her dignity.
