TRANSFERIUM AND REVITALIZATION OF THE TUHNICE DISTRICT IN KARLOVY VARY

The theme of the diploma thesis is the urbanistic concept of the city Karlovy Vary, especially the transformation of the wider city center territory. Thesis is focused on finding a new identity of the solved territory in connection with the traffic situation and suitable placement of the new transport terminal. The project complements the city in connection with the existing structure, adjusts the main traffic arteries to overcome the traffic barriers and to return the riverside of the Ohře river to the citizens of Karlovy Vary. The aim of the diploma thesis is to outline the possible development of the unresolved territory on the border of the spa city area.
