Annotation
The topic of this diploma thesis is reconstruction and extension of the Sokol gym house in Valašské Meziříčí. The study goes from mass concept, through a connection of the building to the surrounding area and its revitalization, to operational layout and material solution of the interior. The work deals with the identification and solution of functional problems that the current building shows. To do this, it applies contemporary architectural principles.
