TRANSFORMATION AREA - PRAGUE

The proposal focuses on the territory of Motol, near the level crossing of Plzeňská and Bucharova streets. The place has a significantly damaged character due to heavy traffic and rapid development during the twentieth century, when it was completely transformed by a system of uncoordinated heavy interventions. The main motive of the project is the transformation of a peripheral develompent along the traffic line into a real city street, introducing the arrival to Prague from the western direction.
