Annotation
The thesis deals with the topic of placement and design of the sports and cultural centre in Chrudim. The goal of the thesis is to prove that sports facilities often situated beyond borders of the compact city are not necessarily forming closed and impassable areas. On the contrary, these sports facilities can enhance the positive urban environment, character, openness and inclusivity of the city.
