Annotation

Diploma project of the Czech Centre and Consulate in Taipei. The proposal is contextually connected to its surroundings. The lightweight construction of the outer shell, stainless steel mesh, steel grating. The house grows from the inside into the urban structure. The compact floor plan corresponds to a specific program. The connection of the Czech Centre to the consulate provides the possibility of wider use of the multifunctional space and other parts of the Czech Centre. Lower floors are fully accessible to the public - library, study rooms, offices of the Czech Centre. The multifunctional space separates the public part from the consulate. There are representational spaces, apartments and a private residence on the upper floors.
