ZVÚ - BROWNFIELD IN HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ

In order to avoid the expansion of cities into the open countryside and the related problem with traffic density, we must look for construction reserve areas in already built-up areas, such as neglected gaps, abandoned buildings, or revitalization of brownfields. That is why one of the many brownfields in Hradec Králové became the subject of this diploma thesis. ZVÚ is located west from the main railway station and although it was once far from the city borders, today it forms a barrier between the center and the suburb areas Kukleny and Svobodné dvory.
