BUBENEČ SHORE

The focus of this master thesis is the transformation of the Bubeneč area of the river bank, part of the municipal district Prague 6. I use this term to describe the area enclosed from one side by the shipping canal and Císařský ostrov, and from the other side by railroads and Stromovka. I increase the mobility within and across the area by adding new roads and supplement the structures with new functions. Several new buildings such as apartment buildings, student housing and student workrooms, turn the locality into a multifunctional and stable part of its city.
