This bachelor thesis focuses on the concept of wearable assistive aid in order to help severely visually impaired with orientation in public spaces. The thesis considers the complicated aspects of life of people with visual impairements. The goal was to outline possible product solutions which addresses the detection and recognition of dangerous obstacles. Proposed electronical travel device should not replace the white cane but create a complementary supplement.
