AFFORDABLE AND COOPERATIVE HOUSING

The thesis pursues the topic of affordability of housing. It analyzes the housing situation in the city of Vienna, then it investigates the situation in Prague. It searches suitable solutions according to sustainability of the city and community, such as different types of cohousing. Then it demonstrates the theoretical bases on a project in Vršovice in Prague. The project design implies an urban planning solution of a specific site close to the railway trying to prove explotation of these plots. Then it continues with a design of a housing block.
