ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT OF BŘEŽANY

The subject of the diploma thesis is the architectural concept of a small village called Břežany in southwestern Bohemia. The aim was to create a vision of how to revive the village and keep its inhabitants. The design was created on the basis of initiation points that would put in motion the spiral of development. The solutions were based on describing problems and values of particular sites. The result is a lively village centre with the important public buildings and adequate capacity for housing in the existing structure of the municipality.
