USE OF PORCELAIN IN THE FIELD OF LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY

This diploma thesis deals with the design and subsequent production of a table lamp. In addition to the design process, it also includes an analysis of the issue. It analyzes lighting, its development and significance for people. The following topic is porcelain, its history, use and examples of contemporary product design. During the design, there was a change in the choice of material to make the final product. The result of the work is a table lamp, designed for home interiors, primarily for bedrooms. The body of the luminaire is made of žárohlína and is complemented by a movable sheet metal shade.
