Annotation

The town of Železný Brod, located in the foothills of the Jizera Mountains, is a suitable starting point for tourist trips to the nearby Maloskalsko Nature Park and the Bohemian Paradise Protected Landscape Area. Nevertheless, the village lacks civic amenities focused on hospitality and accommodation. The design of the inn with the penison “Domus Gramina” is situated in a part of the area of Malé náměstí, which is closed by this new building and separated from the Defenders of Peace waterfront and the Jizera river, and suitably complements the traditional architecture in the village monument reserve Trávníky. The material and floor plan are based on the existence of two buildings, including the inn "U černého orla", which were located on the plots until the middle of the 20th century. The contrast of two, at first sight visually separated masses, forms an internal interconnection into one functional unit.
