Kralupy nad Vltavou - a town without any square, a town without a soul? The aim is to design an efficient urban center. I exploit the potential of the waterfront and let it naturally come to life. I pull down the lifeless May department store. On its place, I propose an indented horizontal structure full of life. A Building which defines space for a new square. A building which lives with the site and its history in harmony. On the ground floor civic amenities, upstairs modest balcony housing. An indiscrete volume facing the busy street, various volume visible from the square. A house with two faces. A house for people.
