Tranquil Garden - Gallery Café

This bachelor thesis is based on a pre-prepared study of a specific place in the city of Terezín, which was created the previous semester. The site in question was originally a private ground with a residential house, garden and a garage. The design itself deals with the adaptation of the holding to its newly intended use, i.e. the establishment of a café and a gallery, but also the revitalization of the city and attracting visitors who would stay longer. The garden responds to the new functions and is thus an extension of the interior of the house. At the same time, the proposal addresses the events in the adjacent Dlouhá and Řeznická streets, as it makes the plot freely permeable and the events on the plot thus intertwine with the street space and erase the boundaries between these two spaces.
