SCHOOL FOR NEW MEDIA, PRAGUE

The aim of the thesis is to design the school building "new media" for Jedlička Institute, which should expand the existing study programmes. The building is located on the site of the Prague Podolsky waterfront. This location provides a good environment for both study and leisure. The main project is the interaction between students and the public. The building of the school is divided into four optically visible parts, which gradually blend basic functions – 1st school, 2nd leisure, 3rd initial training, diagnosis and services, 4th school management and housing. The building is nestled into the existing park while its western part - closer to the river and communication. The entire building is designed as a barrier-free, because it is designed especially for young people with disabilities.
