Praha 14 - Hutě

This thesis solves part of the territory of Prague 14, which is defined by the railway Prague - Lysa nad Labem and highway “radial road Vysocanska”. These borders are hardly permeable, thus between these borders exists an autonomous locality. Existing structures of buildings originated from different periods of history compose the inconsistent and fragmented area without any concept. The topic of thesis is urban design that connects these different structures of buildings and creates a dominant center. Three localities of this area are presented in details and show character of public space and architecture of particular buildings.
