Aula Magna for Charles University

The bachelors assignment was to design Aula Magna for Chrales University in Prague. Object is tackled in rectangular projection, providing new piazza for students, and emphasis on the building momentousness. The auditorium follows a street front of the Old Town Square. Main feature of the concept is homeliness. The object is oriented towards the piazza. Fundamental layout of the structure is a division of the floor projection into the small "cores" of the building where is the base of a vertical comunication. Space for variable usage is located between these cores. Coming into this principle is the elevated main hall as the most important element of the building.
