Pragovka Gate

Site of the building is the approximate geographical center between the upper and lower part of the Pragovka brownfield. The object becomes a kind of link in this area. The building is a gate, a passage. The natural centre of the local neighborhood. A place to slow down on the way to Rokytka river, or on the way to the subway along the Art Walk pedestrian zone. Inside, spaces are created hovering above the passage, above the square. The geometry of the cube is easy to remember and creates an elegant impression in the context of floating suspended spaces above the passage. It wants to be a symbol of the new district. The architecture of sharp angles and not organic shapes reflects the industrial history of the area.
