Conversion of the Zlíchov distillery

The design deals with a conversion of the former Zlichov distillery, situated in the south part of Prague 5 - Smichov. The subject of this project is to integrate the territory of the distillery into the area and thus to form the first impulse for surrounding construction. New multifunctional use will bring life into the neglected area. The project includes restoration and conservation of the valuable parts of the premises, conversion of the less important objects and design of new buildings. Although the area is the heritage area only partially (rafinery and chimney), it is treated and designed with respect and humility. The degin respects the original values and preserves the industrial character, which represents the uniqueness of the place.
