Housing for The Elderly people in Podvinní

The typical character of river Rokytka in Praha - Vysocany is a free space around. Mostly there are only low-rise secondary buildings and functions related to the area. That’s why I tried to place the building as far as possible from a river bank. Except the restaurant the building has four floors and is divided into three basic parts: middle part for Nursing homes (DS) and Adult Day Care with a Seniors club, northern part for an Assisted living (DPS) and south-western part with the restaurant. The northern part of the building maximally uses outlines of a plot and its narrow facade becomes a recognizable silhouette of a park. Included parking in the first floor, kind of antimatter, lightens and brightens visually important corner faced to weir.
