Conversion of railway brownfields - Vršovická railway station

Diploma project is presenting possibilities of today's completion of Vršovické station, whose surfaces are oversized for its purpose. The project deals with utility area, connection to the urban structure, conversion of railway buildings and additions to existing structures. Area for railroad dont need to be that big as were during the steam period. But the phenomenon of railway station haven't lost the importance. Urban study wants to present on example of Vršovické station type of transformation that creates new urban values and new housing options on the edge of the train tracks and the city
