Rustonka Prague 8 – Urban-architectural area solution including Rustonka former boiler house conversion

The objective of the diploma project is the revitalization and alternative solution for the territory of the former machine factory complex Rustonka into a multifunctional complex with primary cultural and social functions. The main idea of the solution is a Rustonka complex connection with a residential park near by rest areas by Vltava river using an optic and communication axes. Geometry of the objects is opening it self and escalates in river direction. On the opposite end by Sokolovská street it completes streetline in connection to wider surrounding area. The area will be used as a centre of architecture, design and contemporary art as well as a social center.
