Veleslavín Residential District

     The aim of the work is a development of family houses on the area of the former gardening. Determining factors for the design is the proximity of the railway at the southern boundary of the area, terrain gently sloping to the north-east and the stream in the northern part. As a result three types of atrium houses (or courtyard houses) have been designed. The courtyards not only provide privacy and light into the interior, but also creates an acoustic barrier against the railway. As an additional function to the housing there has been designed restaurant and store located in the western area.
