MULTIFUNCTIONAL HOUSE ON SOKOL ISLAND IN CESKE BUDEJOVICE

The subject of the thesis is the creation of a multifunctional building whose primary functions are tied to the adjacent sports structures of the falconry, the athletics stadium and the swimming stadium on the territory of Sokol island in Ceske Budejovice and the close proximity of the historic monument zone of the city. The main objectives include, in particular, the creation of a year-round functioning facility and its placement in the surrounding public space with a wider perimeter of functional connections. The multifunctional facility is intended to serve both professional sports teams and private entities, recreational athletes and in particular the general public. Its potential creation relies heavily on local tradition and continues to develop it.
