BETWEEN KRUSNE HORY AND ČESKÉ STŘEDOHOŘÍ

The aim of the diploma project is to present different approaches to the revitalisation of the Bílina mine after the end of lignite mining. There are many ways to work with this landscape after mining. In the diploma project different concepts and their impacts are developed and evaluated. This thesis is a kind of catalogue that conceptually shows what all ways to go forward. The future of the mine is designed from different angles and all the advantages, disadvantages and impacts of each concept are documented. Some of the proposals may be utopian and some the opposite. At the end of the project, an evaluation of each concept is made, which is objective from my personal point of view and serves as a basis for deciding which concept is best according to my criteria. The final concept is developed in greater depth.
