Sustainable Náchod

The aim of this project is to direct the town of Náchod toward sustainable future. This will happen from overall town scale as well as from urban detail. The detail will focus on former industrial area of fabric factory Tepna and the adjacent area of technologically and intellectually obsolete cogeneration plant. Because of the size and the privilege central location, the area is attributed as a key importance for the future development of the town as well as the catchment region, which is one of the cross borders of the republic. Moreover, the redevelopment area will serve as the presentation of sustainable principles, which expand from the locality behind its borders into the rest of the town.
