The topic of the bachelor thesis is the design of an automated external defibrillator. It is used in critical situations when giving first aid in case of a sudden cardiac arrest. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was the design and implementation of a defibrillator, which will meet the requirements for the ergonomic side of the device, user comfort and the associated simplified and more accurate procedure for using the defibrillator. No less important is the visual design, which takes into account the functionality of the device. The final design of the device consists of a compact control box with an e-ink display, which makes the presentation of visual content to the rescuer easier. Next, the final design consists of a new design of adhesive electrodes and their graphics, as well as a storage and portable box in which the defibrillator is placed.
