Bc. Tereza Soubustová

Architecture and Urbanism, MA diploma project

Annotation

The topic of the diploma project is refurbishment of Milady Horakove Street and immediate areas following currently planned projects of speed rail and new development of the Bubny area. The aim is to propose a vision for one of the main streets in Prague. Milady Horakove Street is one of the oldest roads in Prague, it is a continuation of major access roads to the city and is also part of the so-called Northern Diameter, therefore, one of the two main avenues of the capital. It is is an important area neighbouring the historic core, its public space’s character should match the position within the city.
