Community center Palata

The diploma project is dealing with the design of a community center for a locality near the home for visually handicapped people Palata in Prague 5. The place, which has to be created, should offer to local citizens spaces that are architectonically designed in a good quality and as spaces for everyday encounters and a mutual interaction with the opportunity for creating social connections and contacts.The project is attempting in the frameworks of the sloping terrain to solve this uneasy task by designing three functionally detached objects that are nevertheless mutually connected within the exterior space.
