City of dead

This project originates from a need for a new cemetery in Černošice. The building programme is set up following the high cremation rate in the Czech Republic: not just a cemetery, but also a new crematory is designed together with a high capacity columbarium, so the city of death is a city for everyone. The distinctive building of the crematorium also aims to highlight the theme of death as it has been tabooed recently.
