Kladno Campus

The goal of this thesis is to verify the possibility of placement a small university campus into the historic city center of Kladno. The studied area is located in the immediate vicinity of the main square. Due to the decrease in industrial production and changes in social behavior of people, the city center is getting depopulated in last few years. So another reason for placing the campus there, in addition to design appropriate spaces for education, is the recovery of the region with the influx of students and the related generating further opportunities for the development of the area.
