It's unexpected, how many space reserves there are in the heart of Prague. A space between the streets Patočkova and Jelení, which is covered with green vegetation, is one of them. From both sides it is enclosed with tram lines but nevertheless it is hidden from the sight of passerbies in an impenetrable thicket. This place, which is located in the northwest corner of the Prague's fortifications and occupies an area of almost 4 hectares, does not seem to have any concept. Area around the Bastion XI. serves as a park, but probably due to the close proximity of a road it does not fulfil its purpose. A driving school has its facilities and parking lot nearby the Bastion XII. A fresh new building could bring a purpose, life and the long lost energy back to this place.
