Birth of light

Light is a source of each and every existence. Organic life would be unthinkable without the light. My aim was to craft an object, which would not only remind us of this fact, but also relive the light itself. Only thing more important than design is how the light shines and what atmosphere it creates. This diploma thesis was formed with the cooperation with Preciosa Lighting, a firm that has long-lasting tradition not just in Czechia. They sure know how to ressurect glass with the light. Once the light was also alive, glowing  white-hot, malleable, formed by the breath of glassworks masters. The result of this thesis is a collection of one table and two ceiling lamps.
